Station C supports the S.W.A.P. Team
For over a month, our coworking space has been a clothing drop-off point for one of our coworker's non-profits organizations. Station C is proud to support Aleece Germano, The S.W.A.P. Team, and the Montreal event taking place at Piknic Electronik: Take Off Your Clothes.
With her founding partner, Nicole Picard, Aleece and her group promote "sharing as an antidote to overconsumption while increasing awareness of the human and natural resources involved in the creation, transportation, and marketing of mass-produced consumer goods".
Station C members Daniel Mireault, Patrick Tanguay, and Nicolas Ritoux helped work on the organization's appropriately chic website, fellow coworkers Christine Prefontaine and Neale-McDavitt Van Fleet have also supported the initiative, and several members came out to support The S.W.A.P. Team's launch party in June. This really is the spirit of coworking at its finest - people bringing together their skills, talents, and resources to the table to collaborate on a truly meaningful project.
